Joanne Farr

Joanne Stone Farr North Augusta, SC- Mrs. Joanne Stone Farr, 79, entered into rest November 28, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late James "Jimmy" Farr. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 1, 2013 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Butch Baston officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Farr lived in Warren and McDuffie Counties many years before moving to North Augusta. She was the daughter of the late Roy Stone and the late Mahdeen Smith Stone. She was a homemaker and a Baptist by faith. Survivors include her daughters, Judy Ansley and husband, Wayne of Thomson, Cindy Jones and husband, Dennis of Norwood and Joy Hollowell and husband, Darren of North Augusta; brother, Jack Stone of Evans; sister, Jane Griffith of Norwood and grandchildren, Daniel Ansley (Ashlie), Matthew Ansley (Ashley), Kelsey Jones, Franke Jones, Jared Hollowell, and Emily Hollowell and great grandchildren, Livi Grace Williamson, Raimee Ansley and Joseph Ansley. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m., Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home. Beggs Funeral  Home, 799 Cobbham Rd., Thomson, GA is in charge of arrangements.
