Joann Farr Hudson

Mrs. JoAnn Farr Hudson, 80, of Reese Jones Rd., Thomson, Georgia entered into rest February 4, 2017 at Doctors Hospital.

Mrs. Hudson was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County, GA and the daughter of the late Robert Joseph Farr and the late Kathleen Logue Farr. She was a 1954 graduate of Thomson High School with perfect attendance all 12 years. Mrs. Hudson was retired as a bus driver from the McDuffie County Board of Education with 26 years of service. She was also a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hudson was predeceased by her husband, Billy W. Hudson, Sr.

Survivors include her son, Billy W. "Pete" Hudson, Jr. (Mona); daughter, Kathy Carithers (Howard) all of Thomson; grandchildren, Lori McGinley, Josh Hudson, Heath Carithers and Jill Norris; and great grandchildren, Mara McGinley, Katie Hudson, Madi Norris, Gabe Hudson,  and Maci Norris.

Graveside services will be held at 11 o'clock a.m., Tuesday, February 7 ^th at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Brother Donnie Farr and Brother Lanny Farr officiating.
