Thomson, Georgia- Mr. Jimmy Ellis Josey, 60, of Oakwood Road entered into rest December 1, 2017 at his residence.

Mr. Josey was born in Aiken, SC and graduated from Westside High School in 1978.

He worked with Easter Seals for many years and retired from Good Vocations after 20 years of service. Mr. Josey was a Baptist and enjoyed golf, football and reading.

He was predeceased by his father, Herbert A. Josey, Sr., brother, Herbert Allen Josey, Jr. and sister, Lucille Gwynette Hollis.

Survivors include his mother, Willene Josey; nieces, Lynn Hollis, Lucy Reese, Lilly Hollis, Lora Hollis-Lloyd and Lisa Mims; and nephew, Herbert Allen Josey, III.

A memorial service will be held at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Perkins officiating.

Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
