JIMMY HALL RETIRED SCHOOL TEACHER Mr. Jim A "Jimmy" Hall of Warrenton, GA entered into rest May 6, 2009 at Trinity Hospital in Augusta, GA. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 8, 2009 at the First United Methodist Church in Warrenton with Rev. Allen Stewart officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Walker Duncan Davis, Emille Carr, Joe Kimbrough, Craig Hunter and Purnell Davis. Mr. Hall was born in Wilkes County, GA and lived in Warrenton most of his life. He was the son of the late Joel C. Hall, Sr. and the late Betty Bufford Hall. Mr. Hall taught in Warren, McDuffie, Columbia and Richmond County Schools. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Warrenton, a member of the Warrenton Garden Club, a Charter member of the Warren County Historical Society, and was also a member of the Warren County Booster Club. The family expressed that Jimmy was a friend to everyone. Survivors include: Brother: Jay Hall - Warrenton, GA Additional Survivors include: Brenda Samuels Twilly - Thomson, GA Tara L. Henry - Martinez, GA The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
