James Neil "Jim" Hicks
Thomson, GA- Mr. James Neil "Jim" Hicks, 66, of Stagecoach Rd. entered into rest March 5, 2014 .
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 7, 2014 in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Hicks was born in LaGrange, Georgia and was the son of the late William C. Hicks and the late Mary Moncrief Hicks. He served in the U. S. Army during Vietnam. Mr. Hicks lived in Thomson, GA most of his life and worked with Johnson Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac for many years. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Terri K. Hicks; sons, Jeff Hicks and wife, Jessie, Parker Hicks; daughters, Natalie H. Coffey, Emily H. Reese and husband, Travis and 4 grandchildren, Joshua Hadden, Jailey Hicks, Jaxon Hicks and Anna Claire Coffey.
Memorials may be made to the Bethel Baptist Church Building Fund.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 2 p.m., Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Rd., Thomson, GA is in charge of arrangements.
