Jenna Y. Greene

Thomson, Georgia- Mrs. Jenna Y. Greene of Union Church Rd., entered into rest January 14, 2017. She was the widow of Marion Greene.

Mrs. Greene grew up in Thomson, GA and was the daughter of the late Albert C. Young and the late Lena McDonald Young. She worked at Kingsley Mill and Bank of Thomson for several years. Mrs. Greene was a homemaker and a member of Union Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, Mark Greene (Karen), Michael Greene (Stephanie) and six grandchildren, Eli Greene, Judah Greene, Micah Greene, Zion Greene, Alexa Greene and Andrew Greene.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 17th at Union Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Bowers officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.

Memorials may be made to UBC Youth Fund, P. O. Box 1435, Thomson, GA 30824. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home. Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
