Jeanette Beasley Coleman, 96 of Stagecoach Rd., Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on November 27, 2024.

Jeanette was a native of Laurens County, GA and the daughter of the late Hillary Smith and the late Robbie Hall Smith. She lived in Hephzibah for many years and retired from University Hospital as an Administrative Assistant. She was  a member of Fleming Baptist Church for many years. Jeanette was very active serving on many committees along with teaching Sunday School and Training Union. After moving to Thomson, GA in 1992, she became a faithful member of First Baptist Church Thomson and was a member of the Study Garden Club. She enjoyed doing volunteer work, traveling, flower gardening, reading, coloring and especially spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, James Barnie Beasley, Sr. and husband, Roscoe Coleman; brothers, Cleveland Smith, Lewis Smith, John Smith, Trellie Smith, Thurmond Smith; and sisters, Amie Coleman and Blanche Brantley .

Survivors include her son, James Barnie Beasley, Jr. (Carla) of Sylvania, GA

and daughter, Glenda Hardin (Allen) of Thomson, GA; grandchildren, Leslie Walls, (Joey), Karen Benton (Mike), Heather Terry (Wes) and Ryan Beasley; great grandchildren, James Walls, Blair Walls, Michael Benton, Claire Terry, Emma Grayce Terry, Charlotte Terry and Garrett Terry.

A visitation will be held from 12:30 until 1:30 Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Beggs Funeral Home 799 Cobbham Rd. Thomson, GA .

Graveside services will be held at 3pm, Sunday, December 1, 2024 at the New Home Baptist Church Cemetery Wrightsville, GA with Rev. Matt Ward officiating. Pallbearers will be: Michael Benton, Mike Benton, Joey Walls, and Ryan Beasley.

It is the family's request that Memorial Contributions be made in Jeanette's Memory to the Vision Implementation Fund c/o First Baptist Church P.O. Box 1205, Thomson, Ga 30824.
