MRS. JEAN COLVIN PARADISE

Lincolnton , Ga

Mrs. Jean Colvin Paradise, 82, of Washington Highway, entered into rest on Monday, March 27, 2017 at University Hospital McDuffie.  She was a lifelong resident of Lincoln County, the daughter of the late Thomas Edison Colvin and Merle Story Colvin, and a member of the Loco Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, W.B. (Boyce) Paradise and her grandson, Alvin Johnson.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Loco Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Reviere and Pastor Marty Pinion officiating. Interment will follow in the Hephzibah Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include her sons, William B. (Billy) Paradise, Thomas A. (Tommy) and wife, Tomi; her daughters, Mary P. Goldman and husband Racy, all of Lincolnton, Linda Jean P. Johnson and husband, James of Washington; her sisters, Margaret Green of Dearing and Louise Poss of Anchorage, AL..  She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6pm until 8 pm at the funeral home and on Wednesday from 2pm until the hour of service at the church.
