Janet Bodine

Janet Bodine, 82, Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on October 19, 2022, following an extended illness.

Janet was born in Cratfield, England, on January 28 1940, and was raised in Cratfield, immigrated to the United States in 1979, and moved to the Thomson area in 1986.  She was the homemaker for her family and loved animals and caring for them.  She enjoyed going to thrift shops, antiquing, knitting, collecting dolls and teapots and loved spending time with her family and friends.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents E. R. Baker and Florence Revell Baker and her son, Gary Clydesdale.  Her survivors include her devoted husband of 44 years, James Alfred Bodine; her stepchildren, Carol Dissler, George Bodine and Jimmy Bodine; step-nieces and nephews and several cousins.
