Jane (List) Warther

Ms. Jane List Warther, 88, passed away at her residence on November 13, 2018.  Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late James R. A. List and the late Doris C. Christopher List.    She had lived in the Lincolnton area for 43 years after moving from Aiken, South Carolina..  She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and an avid democrat being active in politics from a young age.  She was preceded in death by her husband, John Martin(Marty) Warther, Jr. and son, Scott Warther.

Ms. Warther is survived by her sons Mark Warther and Jon Warther, daughters Marsha de Fontes and Janine Sharpe and eleven grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

There will be no visitation and the funeral will be held on Monday, November 19, 2018, at 2:30 p.m. at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel in Milledgeville, Georgia.
