Mrs. Jane G. Guillebeau, 69, wife of the late Thomas L. Guillebeau, Sr., entered into rest early Saturday morning, October 25th at the residence of her sister, Vonnie with her family at her bedside. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 26, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until the hour of the service on Sunday at the church social hall. Mrs. Guillebeau, daughter of the late Claude and Valeria Franklin Gresham, was a native of Wilkes County and grew up in Lincolnton. During her husband, Tommy's career they lived in various cities including Panama City, Fl; Big Stone Gap, VA; Jacksonville, Fl.; Oklahoma City, Ok.; Norfolk, Va,; and Columbia, SC. Following his retirement in the early 1980's, they came home to Lincolnton. Since that time, she has been a member of New Hope Baptist Church and American Legion #194 Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her sons, Roy H. Guillebeau, III, Thomas L. Guillebeau, Jr., brother, Howard E. Gresham, sister, Claudelle Turner, and great- grandchild, Emily Elizabeth Smith. Survivors: Daughters, Lisa and her husband, Sam Smith of Thomson Katherine and her husband, Mike Judy of Leesville, SC Sister: Vonnie Gunby of Thomson Brother: Wendell Gresham and wife, Peggy of Harlem 6 Grandchildren 7 Great- grandchildren Other family includes: Roy and Mary Lou Guillebeau, William and Billie Guillebeau, Franklin Banks, Ken and Pat Mays, Judy and Bobby Harris and Wyatt and Mae Banks.
