He also served in the US Army National Guard. James, known for his strong work ethic and handy skills, made a significant impact in his professional life. James's passion for the outdoors was a significant part of his life. In years past, he relished the time spent hunting and fishing. His love for animals was equally evident, especially in his affection for his two blue heelers, Sassy and Sam. These loyal companions were a source of great happiness and comfort to him. James is survived by his life partner of over 20 years, Pamela Pittman, and his daughter, Nicole W. Partridge, and her husband, Mark, of Appling.
