Jimmy D. Reese THOMSON, GA. - Mr. James "Jimmy" D. Reese, 52 of Cobbham Rd. died Thursday, March 17th, 2011 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 20, 2011 at 3 o'clock p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson with Rev. Ficklen Guin officiating. Interment will follow at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be: Terry Reese, Brandon Pilgrim, Billy Bonner, Chevy Butler, Chase Butler, Tyler Rushin, Marc O'Conner, David Reese, Stevie Reese, and David Scarborough. Mr. Reese, son of the late Henry and Georgia Mae Russell Reese, was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County. He was a contractor for Country Way Construction and had worked for Two State Construction. His hobbies included hunting, horses, and spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, his sisters, Peggy Rushin and Emmye Rabun preceded him in death.
