James "Jim" Donald Price, 91, Augusta, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on December 26, 2023.

James was born in Wilkes County, Georgia on May 12, 1932. He lived most of his life in Aiken, South Carolina and Augusta, Georgia.  James was Postmaster in Aiken before being promoted to Augusta in 1975, where he served as Section Center Director of Mail Processing and Manager of Customer Service.  He retired from the USPS in 1992, with 40 years of service, so he could play golf three times a week.  James was loved by many and will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar McPhail Price and Carrie Lou Rogers Price and his son, Timothy Price. James' survivors include his wife, Renate Price; his children, Patrick Price (Marianne) and Chad Price and his stepdaughter, Natalie Clarke; his brother, Harold Price (Karen); his grandchildren, Rebecca "Becky" Price, Daniel Price and Angelina Casas; his great grandsons, Atticus and Gustavio and also step- grandchildren.
