James Edward " Eddie" Parham

Appling, Georgia – Mr. James Edward "Eddie" Parham, 73, entered into rest September 1, 2017.

Mr. Parham grew up in Athens, GA and moved to Augusta when he was 17 years old. Early in the 70's he moved to Atlanta, GA and worked for Radio Cab for many years. Mr. Parham attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Wilton Parham and Bessie P. Bullock and sister, Linda Lopez.

Survivors include his brother, John Parham (Cindy) of Blythe, GA; sisters, Sandra Blackstone (Virgil) of Appling, GA, and Janice Smith (Ronnie) of  Augusta, GA.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Bowers officiating. A graveside service will follow at 3:30 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Neese, GA.

Pallbearers will be Virgil Collett, Otis Smith, Matt Parham, Jimmy Smith, Wayne Lopez, Sterling, Wyatt Mason, Daniel Zerbel.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.

Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Rd., Thomson, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
