James F Maguire
Thomson, GA- Mr. James F. Maguire, Jr., 60, of Mesena Rd. entered into rest April 17, 2015 at his residence.
Mr. Maguire was born in St. Johns County, FL, but lived in Burke County, GA most of his life before moving to Thomson five years ago. He drove a truck for Claussen Concrete, Boral Brick and most recently C&H Paving in Thomson. He was a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Maguire; daughter, Alison Cushman and husband, Ray; sisters, Kim Golden and Kay Lee (Tony); and grandchild, Addison Cushman. Mr. Maguire was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Minor and brother, Tommy Minor.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock, p.m., Tuesday, April 21, 2015 in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson with Rev. Andy Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
