James Jones

Mr. Jones was the son of the late James G. Jones, Sr. and the late Mamie Rebecca Rich Jones. A lifelong resident of Augusta,he was retired from Archie Daniels Midland Corporation and was a Methodist . Mr. Jones was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and a former member of the Moose Club. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his brother Ralph Jones. Survivors: Wife: Dolores Gibbs Jones, Augusta Daughter: Shirley Jones Serrano, Augusta Son: Alan Jones, Augusta Brothers: Wesley D. Jones, Atlanta C. Hugh Jones, Augusta Grandchildren: Brian Jones, Amy Walker, Michael Serrano, Ana Serrano Eight Great- grandchildren Pallbearers will be Brian Jones, Michael Jones, Russell Gibbs, Steven Gibbs, Michael Gibbs, and Billy Gibbs.
