James "Jimmy" Higdon

Thomson, Georgia - Mr. James "Jimmy" Higdon, 59, of Starr Hinson Rd. entered into rest August 17, 2017.

Jimmy was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County, GA and was retired as a carpenter. He attended Men's Outreach Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church. Jimmy enjoyed riding motorcycles and loved the outdoors, especially the mountains.

Survivors include his mother, Mabel Kennedy Woods; daughters, Jenny Lynn Hartzog, Mirranda Medina; son, Nash Higdon; brother, Jeff Higdon and grandchild, Kelsey Dees. Jimmy was predeceased by his father, Joe Higdon; companion, Carol Gene "Geneie" Land Mitchum and brother, Joey Higdon.

It was Jimmy's wishes that there would be no service or visitation.

Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
