Jackie Elizabeth Sammons Mowery, 67, Wrens, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on May 13, 2022.

Jackie was born in Louisville, Georgia on May 12, 1955, grew up in Gibson before moving to Wrens.  She was Baptist by faith, enjoyed fishing, had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening, enjoyed music, playing lottery, and especially loved spending time with her family and friends.

Mrs. Mowery was preceded in death by her parents, Terrell Sammons and Eloise Radford Sammons, her husband Donald Mowery; and her sister, Janie Johnson.  Her survivors include her daughters, Janet Sammons (Ken) of Eatonton and Jennifer Johnikin (Henry) of Statesboro; her brother Jarrel Sammons (Karen) of Mitchell; her sisters Judy Solei (Richard) of Lincolnton and Pam Sammons of Gibson; seven grandchildren, Dalton Reed, Abigail Reed, Felicity Miller, Keigan Miller, Shod Nice, Cadence Nice and Castlen Filas and one great grandchild, Emberly Marsh.
