Thomson, GA – Jackie Sue "MeMa" Hiott, 78, entered into rest September 4, 2013.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Piedmont, SC with Rev. Terry Rainey officiating.

Mrs. Hiott was born in Pelzer, SC and was the daughter of the late Tad League and the late Gaynelle Allen League. She had lived in Thomson, GA since 1967. Mrs. Hiott was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God.

Survivors include her daughters, Wanda Hiott, Lynn Hiott, Wendy H. Tapley (Dennis); son, Curt Hiott; sister, Betty Ann Elrod; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Mrs. Hiott was preceded in death by her husband, Prue Hiott; son, Gary Lewis "Tater" Hiott and daughter, Julie Elder.

Friends may call at the Second Chance Independent Church, 1152 Hillcrest Drive, Thomson, GA or the family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
