Jack Brown Oliphant, Jr., 75, Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on October 14, 2024.

Jack was born in Louisville, Georgia, grew up Stellaville and has lived most of his adult life in Thomson, Georgia.  He was an expert carpenter and worked for himself and many contractors in the area prior to his retirement and served his country in the National Guard for a period of time. Jack was Baptist by faith and grew up attending Stellaville Ways Baptist Church.  He enjoyed hard work, fishing and artifact hunting and spending time with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack Brown Oliphant, Sr. and Alma Evelyn Howell Oliphant; his son, Jacob Oliphant and his sisters, Barbara Oliphant Hefner and Dianne Oliphant Norris.  His survivors include his brothers, Billy Oliphant (Kathy), Tommy Oliphant and David Oliphant and other extended family.
