Mr. Hayes moved from Nashville to Augusta in 1974 to work in the garment industry at Trooper until 1981. In 1982 Jack and Sandi moved to the Leah Community and opened The Pair of Jacks Inc. For the past 33 1/2 years he enjoyed building the business and building the extended family with so many wonderful customers. He enjoyed fishing & hunting. He also had a great love for all his gone before him pets. Jack loved the Lord & found so much joy in all the blessings & riches of God's promises.

Survivors include Sandi, his wife of 43 years and their beloved poodle Buddy, Daughter Sheri Hutchison (Todd) of Brentwood, Tennessee, Rachel and Joseph Stokes, Ethan, Tobey, Colin, Annabelle and Rebekah and Jonathan McGehee, Elaina, Caden, Lillian and Kersy and Kristen and Chris Tedder and new Baby Jack, Daughter Kim Landrum (Frank) of Auburn, Kentucky, Jennifer and Joseph, Brooklyn, Tyler and Thomas. Son Robert Franklin Hayes Augusta, Georgia Sister Glenda Gary (Eddie) of Beaufort, South Carolina Brother Robert T. Hayes and Sue Tyson of Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Services will be held Saturday June 11, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Word of Life Church, 6389 Washington Rd., Appling with visitation one hour before the service at the church. Memorials in his honor may be made to Word of Life Church, Southeast Hospice or America Cancer Society.
