J. W. Wilkerson Gibson, GA- Mr. J. W. Wilkerson, 67, of GA Hwy. 102 entered into rest June 2, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock a.m., Tuesday, June 5, 2012 from the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating. Interment will follow in the Walden's Cemetery, Avera. Mr. Wilkerson was a lifelong resident of Glascock County, Georgia and was the son of the late Clinton Wilkerson and the late Mattie Bland Wilkerson. He was retired from Thomson Oak Flooring. Mr. Wilkerson was also a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Charlene Wilkerson; sons, Johnny Wilkerson and Jerry Wilkerson both of Warrenton, Mark Chalker, Gibson; daughters, Kathy Wilkerson and Charlotte Wooden both of Gibson; brother, Ernest Wilkerson, Thomson; sisters, Nealie Chalker, Gibson, Belva Reese, Martinez, Frankie Benson, Norwood and 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
