J. Steve Scruggs

Mr. James S. "Steve" Scruggs, 69 of Gills Point Rd. entered into rest on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Wills Memorial Hospital, Washington.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 24th at 10 am at Beulah Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service.

Mr. Scruggs, son of the late Clinton J. Scruggs and Iris Jynell Scarboro, served in the US Navy,  was a retired facilities director with In Touch Ministries and was a member of Beulah Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He was member of NRA, USAA, and American Legion. His sister, Vickie Scruggs,  preceded him in death.
