IVYLIN HOWELL WHITE RETIRED SOCIAL ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR MRS. IVYLIN HOWELL WHITE of Five-Points Jewell Rd., Jewell Community entered into rest February 1, 2008 at her residence. She was the beloved wife of the late William Eugene White for 48 years, daughter of the late Ola Dye Howell and the late Fred M. Howell, and sister of the late Ellen Howell Frost and Douglas Howell. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM, Sunday, February 3, 2008 from the Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Tom and Deloris Egglestan along with Chad Crews officiating. Mrs. White was a lifelong resident of Warren County. She was a faithful member and servant at Long Creek Baptist Church for over 50 years. She also served as Sunday School teacher, Bible School leader, and WMU member. Survivors include; son, William Douglas White and his wife Alice , Louisville, KY daughters, Cynthia White Roof, Anderson, SC, and Laurie White Hobbs and her husband Billy, Thomson, GA, grandsons, Brian White, Benjamin White, Daniel Palmer, and great-granddaughter, Avery White and step-grandson, David Hobbs Friends may call at her residence 80 Five Points- Jewell Rd., Jewell Community.
