Irene Bailey

Mrs. Irene Bailey, 83, of Knob Hill Farm Road, formerly of White Rock Road, died Friday, March 05, 2010 at Wills Memorial Hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 3PM Sunday, March 7, 2010 in Salem Baptist Church with Dr. G. Al Wright & Rev. Deryl Odom officiating. Interment will follow in the Church cemetery. Mrs. Bailey was a lifelong resident of Lincoln County and a member of the Salem Baptist Church where she was formerly active in the Doris Cox Circle of the WMU and the adult choir. She also attended Smyrna United Methodist Church. She was retired from Royal Manufacturing Company. Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Quincy W. Bailey, two brothers, Lester Bentley and Johnny Bentley, and a sister, Mary Jo Ferguson. She is survived by a brother, William Bentley and wife, Lee of Lincolnton along with a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 7PM until 9PM Saturday evening at Beggs Funeral Home,Lincolnton, GA. Friends may call at the residence of William Bentley, 2672 White Rock Road or at the church on Sunday beginning at 2:00pm until the hour of service.
