Mr. Howard Eugene Martin, Jr., 91, Augusta, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on September 22, 2021.

Howard was born in Augusta, Georgia on December 25, 1929, grew up in Augusta, Georgia and lived most of his life there.  He retired from his career as a salesman, he was the Master of the George Walton Masonic Lodge #669 in 1976, remained active as a Mason for many years, was a member of the Augusta Shrine Club, loved cooking and especially loved his family and friends.

Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Martin, Sr. and Marion Iris Brandon Martin.  He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Jordan Martin; his son, Kirk E. Martin (Christine) of Marietta; his brother, Charles G. Martin of Oregon; and his grandson, Ian Andrew Martin.

There will be a Graveside Service held on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Road, Augusta, Georgia 30906.  Please visit www.beggsfuneralhome.net to sign the family's personal guestbook.
