Howard "Tootie" Burnley Retired Bellsouth Thomson, Ga. - William Howard "Tootie" Burnley, 62 of Salem Rd. Thomson, GA entered into rest October 16, 2009. He was the beloved husband of Pam Burnley. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, October 18, 2009 at Second Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Burnley and Dr. Ron Drawdy officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Mr. Burnley was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County and was the son of the late Wiley M. Burnley and the late Helen Wells Burnley. He served in the U.S. National Guard and was retired from Bellsouth as a lineman with over 30 years service. Mr. Burnley was a member of Second Baptist Church and was currently serving as the Sunday School Superintendent. Survivors include his wife, Pam S. Burnley of Thomson; son, Steve Burnley and wife Lessie of Thomson; daughters, Nichole Goldstein and husband Jon of Atlanta, Lois Brown and her fiance' Mike Anglin of Evans; stepchildren, Crystal Fleming and husband Bo of Warrenton, Allen Smith and wife Jessica of Dearing; brothers, Sonny Burnley, Tommy Burnley both of Thomson, Rev. Danny Burnley, Simpsonville, SC; sisters, Marian Henry and Wylene Inman both of Augusta; Grandchildren, Harper Bryant, Grant Burnley, Shayne Smith, Peyton Smith, Isabelle Goldstein, Zeke Brown, Chloe Goldstein and Cutler Fleming.
