Hortense W. Harding

Mrs. Hortense Williams Harding, 82, of Dixie Lane, entered into rest May 25, 2012. Mrs. Harding, a native of Cheraw, SC, was a former resident of Augusta until moving to Lincolnton in 1970. She was a charter member of New Work Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Harding Survivors include two sons: Wayne Harding and Gary Harding; and two grandchildren: Holly H. Thomas and Ben Harding. Funeral services will be held at 4:00pm on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from the New Work Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Double Branches Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the New Work Baptist Church from 2:30pm until the hour of service.
