Warrenton, GA- Mr. Hill Padgett, 69 of Ricketson Rd. entered into rest June 7, 2011 at the VA Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 10, 2011 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Dunaway officiating. Interment to follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be: Clarence Holliman, Donald Prickett, Jr., Ronnie Prickett, Eddie Newsome, Bennie Story, and Brad Story.
Mr. Padgett, son of the late William Lee Padgett and the late Irene Elizabeth Padgett, was born in Baldwin County, Alabama. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was retired as an electicial contractor. Mr. Padgett was a member of the IBEW Local #1579 and a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his son, Donald Padgett (Anna) of Pensacola, FL, daughter, Melinda Madden (Donald Prickett, Jr.) of Matthews, GA; brothers, Leroy Padgett of Fair Hope, AL, Clinton Padgett of Shelby, NC; sisters, Ruth Hughes of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Edna Holloway of Gadsen, AL and Elizabeth Cousins of Foley, AL; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday, June 9, 2011 at the funeral home.
