Dearing, GA - Mr. Herbert Calvin Rhodes, Jr., 53, of George McDuffie Rd. Ext. entered into rest December 14, 2017 at his residence.

Mr. Rhodes lived most of his life in Crawfordville, GA but lived in Dearing for the past 7 years. He was retired as a Machinist and enjoyed doing Civil War Reenactments, fishing, hunting Indian artifacts, and he loved his grandchildren.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 32 years, Donna Parkerson Rhodes; son, Steven Rhodes (Melissa) of Greensboro, GA; parents, Herbert Calvin Rhodes, Sr. and Dorothy Garner Rhodes of Crawfordville, GA; father and mother in law, Roy and Dianne Parkerson of Dearing, GA; sisters, Janet Ballard and Patricia Statham both of Greshamville, GA and many grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Widener officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
