Henry Whitener

Mr. Henry Whitener, 81, of Noble Street formerly of Washington, Georgia entered into rest March 4, 2013.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Resthaven Cemetery in Washington, Georgia with Rev. Grant Cantrell officiating.

Mr. Whitener grew up in the Delhi Community of Wilkes County and was the son of the late John W. Whitener and the late Nora Freeman Whitener. He was a farmer and worked at the Apple Orchards in Washington for many years. Mr. Whitener was a Baptist.

Survivors include his sisters, Doris W. Burkhart, Reba W. Edmunds and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the graveside from 2:30 until the hour of service.

Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
