Henry C. Sandifer Jr.

Mr. Henry C. Sandifer, Jr., 79, a native of Lincolnton, Ga., resident of Washington, Ga. entered into rest on Friday, March 2, 2018 at Pruitt Health Care, Washington.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, March 4th, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at Washington Wilkes Memorial Gardens with Rev. Rob Cohen officiating. The family will visit with friends at the graveside following the service.

Mr. Sandifer, son of the late Henry C. Sandifer, Sr. and Mazie Ellison Holloway, was born in McCormick, S.C., graduated from Lincolnton High School. He worked for Coca Cola in Thomson, Washington and Augusta for 18 years as a route supervisor until 1978. Afterwards, he was employed by International Paper, Washington as a shipping clerk. He was a member of Pine Point Camping Club and attended Rehoboth Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Hilda Gunter Sandifer; daughter, Dianne S. Moore and husband, Tracy; son, Gene Sandifer and wife, Florence all of Washington; sister, Irma S. Sikes and husband, Rifo of N. Augusta, SC; grandchildren, Karmen Moon and husband, John, Brad Sandifer, and wife, Amanda, Douglas Pullen and wife, Natalie, and Caylor Sandifer; great- grandchildren, Samuel Moon, Hannah Grace Moon, Charlie Mae Moon, Lilly Katherine Moon, Talon Pullen, Tinsley Pullen, Carter Pullen, Whit Sandifer, and Wes Sandifer.
