Helen F. Raymundo
Thomson, GA – Mrs. Helen F. Raymundo, 78, entered into rest April 7, 2020.
Mrs. Raymundo was born in Charleston, South Carolina, lived in San Diego California, Vallejo California, Bloomfield Indiana, and Milton Florida, before moving to Thomson in 2009. She was the daughter of the late Carlton Gerard Farrell and Mrs. Agnes Laura Fultz Farrell. She was a Catholic by faith. Helen worked many years in the Navy Exchange System. She loved people, treasured the idea of serving young sailors, marines, soldiers, and airmen. Blessed with a generous spirit and a love of people, she was always ready with kind words and smiles to customers and work associates. It was the reason she rarely missed work because customers enjoyed her smile and chats with them. She loved animals, often fed strays and took several into her home. She devoted her life to loving her family, friends, working hard, and viewing the world with remarkable optimism no matter the circumstances. Mrs. Raymundo was predeceased by her parents and a sister Laura Miriam Tatro.
Left behind to cherish her memory is a daughter, Theresa Raymundo, and her son-in-law Terry Nickerson, Thomson; brother, Charles Joseph Farrell, Goose Creek, South Carolina; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Hughes, Charleston, South Carolina and Kyran Marie Rudicill, Clinton Maryland.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
