MR. H. B. "JEW" LINDSEY, SR Lincolnton, Ga. Mr. Hubert Bostic "Jew" Lindsey, Sr, 90 of 356 Elm Street died Tuesday, March 3rd, 2009 at McDuffie County Hospital, Thomson. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 6th,2009 at 2 p.m. at Morningside Baptist Church with Revs. Dan Fernandez and Robert Rayner officiating. Interment will follow in the Fishing Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Wilkes County. Dustin Dillashaw, Dempsey Parham,Brantley Stevens, Ryan Stevens, Brent Holloway and Tommy Dawkins will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Thomas Dawkins, Sr., and members of American Legion Post #194 as well as members of the Ladies Auxillary. Mr. Lindsey, son of the late Will Lindsey and Rosa Lee Thurmond Lindsey, was a native of Wilkes County but had resided in Lincoln County since 1971. He was a retired insurance agent and business owner. Also, he had served in the U.S. Army National Guard and was a member of Morningside Baptist Church and American Legion Post #194. Survivors: Wife: Joyce H. Lindsey Sons and Daughters-in-law: Hubert B. Lindsey, Jr and wife Wilma, Washington, and Justice Eugene Lindsey and wife, Jayne Cormier, Marietta. Daughters and Sons-in-law: Debbie Brown and husband, Gene, Lincolnton, Pam Holloway and husband, David, Pinopolis, SC, and Donna Dillashaw and husband, Jerry, Greenwood, SC. Sister: Lounelle L. Austin, Washington Mr. Lindsey had ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren
