Harvey Lee Freeman

Mr. Harvey Lee Freeman, 58 of May Ave., Lincolnton entered into rest on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at 2:30 pm at Mt Zion Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6pm until 7pm on Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Freeman, a native of Jersey City, New Jersey, grew up in Lincolnton, Ga. where he graduated from LCHS in 1984. He was employed by Mohawk Industries in Calhoun Falls and then worked as a cook at Home Café. In the past two years, he had worked in packaging at Amazon. He enjoyed cooking and joking around with his friends.

He will be greatly missed by his mother, Betty Jo Blackmon; brothers, Bobby Freeman, Paul Darrin Gladmon, Daniel Blackmon; sisters, Linda Smith and husband, James, Mary Blackmon, Glenda Dean Blackmon, Idell Andrews, and Emma Ruth Dooley. He was preceded in death by sisters, Iris Mae Norman, Geneva Smith and brother Willie James Blackmon.
