Harold Pittman Hayes, Jr., 65, Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on July 11, 2022.

Harold was born in Augusta, Georgia on January 11, 1957, grew up in Augusta, Georgia, moved to the Thomson area in 2000 and worked in the foundry industry and was employed at Georgia Iron Works for over 30 years.  He enjoyed Nintendo DS, working on cars, fishing, deer hunting, joking around, making people smile and laugh_ and loved spending time with his family and friends.

Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Harold Pittman Hayes, Sr. and Doris Walker Hayes.  His survivors include his beloved wife of 22 years, Virginia "Ginny" Vann Hayes; his daughters, Emily Hayes and Allison Hayes; his brother, William Hayes; his sister, Shirley Porter (Dennis) of Augusta, Georgia and granddaughter, Aliza Higdon.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Georgia, with Bro.
