Harold Faglier

Harold Faglier Warren County Tax Commissioner Warrenton, Ga. - Mr. Jimmie Harold Faglier, 80 of Whitehead Street entered into rest March 28, 2010 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Evelyn Sheppard Faglier for 61 years. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Gary Hadden and Mike Dann officiating. Interment will follow at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Avera, Georgia. Pallbearers will be: Dennis Fordham, Jay Morgan, John Graham, Jim McMichael, Larry Hadden, Ronnie Hadden, Victor Raley, Branson Kent and Mark Hughes. Mr. Faglier was a native of Avera, Georgia and was the son of the late Jimmy Faglier and the late Ora Mae Dixon Faglier. He had retired as the Warren County Tax Commissioner after 18 years of service. Mr. Faglier also worked as Staff Superintendent for Independent Life Insurance Company for many years. He served as the Golf Pro at the Thomson Country Club and the Warrenton Country Club during the late 60's and early 70's. Mr. Faglier was also a member of First Baptist Church of Warrenton and the Senior Men's Sunday School Class. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Evelyn Sheppard Faglier; daughters, Lynn Faglier Wheeler and husband Al, Jeanne Faglier Allen and husband Barry; grandchildren, Christy Wheeler and Reed Wheeler all of Warrenton, Georgia; brother, Charles Faglier and wife June of North Augusta, SC; niece, Charlene Faglier of Anderson, SC; special sister-in-law, Ethel S. Giles; brothers-in-law, Hadden Sheppard and wife Lulah, Harold Sheppard and wife Johna; sister-in-law,Virginia M. Sheppard all of Augusta, Georgia and many nieces and nephews.
