Harold J "Buddy" Hayes

Harold J. "Buddy" Hayes Thomson, GA - Harold J. "Buddy" Hayes, 81, of Magnolia Drive entered into rest on August 12, 2015. Mr. Hayes was  born in Connecticut and was the son of the late Harold Hayes and the late Agnes Thayer. He was retired as the assistant plant manager with Uniroyal with 27 years of service. Mr. Hayes was also a painter and he was a Catholic by faith. Survivors include his son, Doug Hayes (Sherry); daughter in law, Jennifer Hayes; sister, Jean Lyden; grandchildren, Kimberly Hayes, David Hayes, Brant Hayes, Cambrie Hayes and Caeleigh Hayes. Mr. Hayes was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Hayes and son, David Joseph Hayes. Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock, a.m., Monday, August 17, 2015 in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Father Stephen Lyness officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Scott Shivers, Glen Scouten, Jason Conner, Bobby Floyd, Benji Cranford and Eric Cooper. Honorary pallbearers will be: Phil Davis and Ray W. Crosby. The will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home. Beggs Funeral Home Thomson, GA is in charge of arrangements.
