Harold Franklin Anderson, 62, of 107 Hycliff Road, Rome Georgia, passed away early Sunday morning, November 24, 2013 at Lake Crossing Health Care, Appling, Ga. He is survived by a sister, Wana Anderson Sowa of Atlanta, GA, two nephews, Brett Sowa (Stephanie) of Jonesboro, Ga and Cameron Sowa ( Melanie) of Stockbridge, GA; and a great nephew, Jak Sowa.

Harold is a 1969 Graduate of West Rome High School, and received Art and Psychology degrees from West Georgia College in 1974.  Harold worked in sales, but was a very talented and gifted artist who received many accolades, including a recent first place award for his ingenious and meticulous dioramas of World War II.

Harold touched many lives with his compassion and loving personality.   He will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold L. Anderson and mother, Rachel Dawkins Anderson.

He was the grandson of the late Floyd and Ida Mae Dawkins of Lincolnton.
