Gregory "Greg" Andrews

Gregory Eugene Andrews, known affectionately to friends and family as Greg, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at the age of 56. Born on April 7, 1969, in Lincoln County, Georgia, Greg was the son of the late Henry Ralph and Barbara Ann Fain Andrews. He spent his entire life in the Beulah Community of Wilkes County, on the very farm where his grandparents had lived and his mother had grown up. He began working at a young age for several years at Bentley Dairy Farm before finding his long-term employment with Gold Eagle Quarries. As a flagger, Greg was essential in ensuring the safety and efficiency of operations, relaying signals from the quarry's surface to the crane operator below.

Outside of work, Greg was a man of many talents and interests. He was known for his ability to repair almost anything, manifesting his handy nature. Friends and neighbors often found him tinkering on old cars, trucks, and lawnmowers, always eager to breathe new life into objects that others had given up on. Greg's love for the outdoors was unmistakable and fishing was one of his greatest joys.

He is survived by his brother, Allen "Rooster" Andrews and wife Peggy of Tignall; sister, Sheila A. Carter and husband Donald of Elberton; nieces and nephews, Stacey Seymour and husband Brett, Kayla Campbell and husband Adam, Kevin Carter and wife Nicole, Kaitlyn Andrews and husband Jeff, Kristopher Carter along with many cousins.
