Grace Caroline Sukel

Mrs. Grace Thebom Sukel, 90 of Broad River Scenic Drive, died Friday, July 19 ^th at Heardmont Nursing Home, Elberton, GA.

Mrs. Sukel, a native of Charleroi, PA, had lived here since 2003.  She had retired as a deli worker in the food service industry  and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Washington, GA.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Sukel, a son, Edward J. Sukel, and a brother, Bill Eckman. Survivors include a daughter, Kathryn Ann Cook, Talmadge of Elberton; a son, James Dennis Sukel, of Salisbury, NC; a sister, Ann Organ of Pennsylvania; along with seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be conducted on Wednesday,July 24, 2013, from St. Joseph Catholic Church, with a reception immediately following. Inurnment services will be conducted at the Purification Catholic Cemetery in Sharon, GA. following the reception.
