Mrs. Glinda Goldman Wells, wife of Ben Hill Wells of Washington Hwy., entered into rest Sunday, September 28 at Thomson Manor in Thomson.
Mrs. Wells, born on August 14, 1931, was the daughter of the late Mark A. and Sarah Elizabeth Mayfield Goldman. On October 2nd, 1947, she married Ben Hill Wells.
Together, they raised their two children and ran an egg production business on the same farm where she was born. In addition to her children she had many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved and nurtured throughout her life. She loved the Lord and was a very active member of Hephzibah Baptist Church and had served as Sunday School Teacher for both Adults and Children for many years as well as Choir member, Royal Ambassador leader, puppet Ministry leader, Cemetery Chairperson, President of the WMU, and served on several committees in particular house and grounds and nominating committees. She raised large gardens that fed her family throughout the year. She was an accomplished seamstress and talented at many crafts with an gifted eye to beauty and always strove for excellence.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Clifford Fine.
