Dearing, GA – Mrs. Geri Evans-Young, 78, entered into rest November 10, 2019.

Mrs. Young, a native of McDuffie County, GA; was the daughter of the late Ira T. Neal and the late Rebie Adams Neal.  She was a devoted nurse and caregiver, and enjoyed being a sales representative for AVON.  Mrs. Young loved her children and grandchildren and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Young was predeceased by her beloved husband, Marion Young; son, Timothy Evans; and infant son, Trevis Evans.

Survivors include her sons; James Taylor Evans (Sylvia) of Dearing, GA and Rev. Anthony Evans (Starla) of Powder Springs, GA; daughter, Tori Faglier (Steve) of Dearing, GA; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, November 13, 2019 in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Keith Gunter and Rev. Bryan Busby officiating.  Interment will follow in the Neal Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until Noon, Wednesday, at the funeral home prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Autism Association.
