George M. Padgett, II

George M. "Jeepy" Padgett, II, 53, of Lincolnton Hwy, Thomson, GA entered into rest May 30, 2018.

Mr. Padgett was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County, GA and was a 1982 graduate of Thomson High School. He had worked at Culpepper Lumber, Pratt Dudley and delivered for Farmer's Furniture. Mr. Padgett enjoyed drawing and wood working.

Survivors include his mother, Audrey Padgett; son, George M. Padgett, III; daughter, Audrey Rose Padgett; brothers, BB Padgett (Angie), Robert Padgett; sister, Audrey Murphy (Lee); and companion, Barbara Durden.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 1, 2018 in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Brother Travis Hadden officiating.

Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Rd., Thomson, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
