George Allen Bunch

Mr. George Allen Bunch, 91 of Thomson Rd. entered into rest on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Wills Memorial Hospital, Washington.

Mr. Bunch, son of the late Theodore and Mittie Wheeless Bunch was  born in the Floral Hill Community of Wilkes County. He served in the US Army  34 ^Th Infantry Division during WWII in Italy and received a Purple Heart.  After 35 years of service,  he  retired from Pet Milk/ Land-O-Sun Dairies as a plant engineer and was a member of First United Methodist Church, Washington.

Daughter: Janet Bunch

Son: Allen Bunch and wife, Bettisue of Lincolnton

Son-in-law: Ronny Lindsey, Washington

Sister: Madge Bunch Wideman, McCormick, SC

Jennifer L. Clarke; Elizabeth Niesen, and husband, Michael; Jacob Lindsey and wife, Martina
