George E. "Buddy" Johns

Mr. George Edward "Buddy" Johns of Lincolnton entered into rest on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Piedmont McDuffie.

Mr. Johns, son of the late Dessie Albert and Ida Lexsy Kirkland Johns was born on April 29, 1941 in Swainsboro, GA. where he grew up. After living in Alabama for several years, he moved to his parent's fish camp in 2005.  Soon afterwards, he was employed by H&H Industrial Maintenance as a welder. He attended Double Branches Baptist Church in years past and enjoyed fishing when he wasn't working.

Survivors include his loving companion, Shirley Bowick; sons, George Thomas Johns and Steven Douglas Johns; adopted daughter, Donna Marie Griffith; special niece and her husband, Joyce and Dan; special friends, Joyce and Jerry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Chris Johns.

At Mr. Buddy's request, no service is planned.
