Genny Dell Wells

Dearing, GA- Mrs. Genny Dell Wells, 78, of Iron Hill Rd. entered into rest April 22, 2017.

Ms. Wells was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County, GA and the daughter of the late Lee Guy and the late Marie Hobbs Guy. She was a devoted homemaker and retired as a seamstress from Thomson Company. Ms. Wells was also a member of Fort Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Terry Tapley of Dearing, GA, Ronnie Wells (Paula) of Charleston, SC, Ann Birchfield, Michael Wells (Janet), and Wayne Wells all of Dearing, GA, and Jennifer Thompson (Mike) of McIntyre, GA; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the Fort Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Lewis Farrer officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
