Geneva (Buff) Maxwell

Ms. Geneva Buff Maxwell, 77, of Pine Ridge Road, Monroe, Georgia, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Piedmont Walton Hospital.  She was born on September 7, 1946, to Robert Henry and Cora Lee Cassell Buff in Wilkes County.  She spent most of her life in the Winder and Monroe areas.  She loved to cook and was known for her baking skills, especially her delicious biscuits.

Ms. Maxwell is survived by her two sons, Billy Maxwell Jr. and Donald Maxwell, both of Washington, her daughter, Melony Williams of Danielsville, her sister, Paulette Evans, of Monroe and three grandchildren.

A graveside service is planned for Monday, April 1, 2024, at 2:00 PM, at Mt. Zion Church Cemetery 2200 Wrightsboro Road Washington, GA  with a visitation beginning at 1:00 PM  until the time of the service in the church sanctuary.
