Gaynor Newsome

Warrenton, Georgia - Mr. Jordan Gaynor Newsome, 73, of Hwy 80, Warrenton, GA  entered into rest April 9, 2020 at the VA Medical Center.

Mr. Newsome was born in Savannah, GA and was the son of the late Russell Newsome and the late Eloise Morris Newsome. He grew up in Savannah and following high school served in the U. S. Army during Vietnam. Mr. Newsome worked in Savannah many years as a contractor building subdivisions, and in 1980 moved to Warrenton where he continued construction and remodeling. He enjoyed living in the country and cattle farming.

Survivors include his sons, Joshua Newsome of Warrenton, Kevin Newsome of North Carolina; daughter, Paige Newsome; sister, Brenda McKensie of Savannah, GA and 4 grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 13, 2020 in the Gibson Cemetery.
